The practical experiment

  1. Write the practice you ordinarily intend.
  2. Write a continuity version you may choose on a harder day.
  3. Write the ordinary cue that helps you reconsider the usual version.
The framework remains a hypothesis.

Evidence supports a distinction between intention and completed behavior, the relevance of context and cues, and variation in habit-formation timing. The reviewed evidence does not establish that the DWF three-line framework causes consistency or makes return easier.
